Bluedot 2019 - Nebula

I’ve played alongside many of my DJ heroes over the years but coming on straight after New Order, who were my favourite band as a kid, has got to take the biscuit. And that’s exactly what happened at this years Bluedot Festival.

One minute I was watching Blue Monday kicking off beneath the Lovell space telescope and the next I was running over to the Nebula stage to start playing. I’d already caught Kraftwerk the night before so was absolutely brimming full of inspiration.

It ended up a special session as inner city electronic closed the stage with myself and Willow and definitely an experience I’d like to share with you…

Celebrating exactly 50 years of the first moon landing bluedot festival produced their best edition to date with Kraftwerk and New Order headlining. I came on straight after New Order on the Nebula stage and recorded this session July 21st 2019. The moon picture is actually one I took myself of Luke Jerram's 360 degree projection mapped art installation at the festival !
